A Every patient or treatment is different. There is no standard fee. The doctor needs to do an exam to evaluate on an individual basis. Schedule a Free consultation with Dr. Langford to see what treatment options are best for you or your child.

Q Does the doctor really run on time?
A For the most part, yes! With help from our patients we do a very good job of staying on schedule.

Q Does orthodontic treatment hurt?
A Discomfort after adjustments is somewhat common, however, it generally fades within a day and can usually be treated with Tylenol or Advil.

Q Why do you need braces if teeth are straight but my bite is off?
A Orthodontics isn’t only for pretty teeth. A good healthy bite helps eliminate other health problems in later years. It also helps save teeth from wearing.

Q How much longer do I have until I get my braces off?
A We will advise you of you an estimated completion date based on how your teeth progress. However, this can affected by missed appointments or not wearing elastics properly. It’s our goal to get you the best smile possible as quickly as possible without sacrificing the end result.

Q How long do I have to wear my retainers?
A For the first year you need to wear them 24 hours a day, except during meal time. After that you should continue to wear them at night.

Q What is a bite plate for?
A A bite plate lifts your front top teeth up so that you do not knock off any of your lower brackets.

Q Can the fee for treatment be financed?
A Yes we offer several payment options.

Q Do I continue to see my dentist for regular visits while I wear my braces?
A Yes it’s important to maintain the health of your teeth while you have braces on.

Q How long is a typical orthodontic treatment?
A Typically 18-30 months. It will vary based on the severity of each case.
