Right Age for Braces

Adults and children alike can benefit from the results of orthodontic treatment. A beautiful smile, improved dental health, improved facial profile and a boost in self-confidence can each be the result of treatment.

In accordance with the guidelines set by the American Association of Orthodontists, we recommend seeing children starting at age 7. This allows for early diagnosis and treatment which can help guide facial growth and dental eruption which can prevent more serious problems from developing. Our goal is to reduce the time your child wears full braces and to provide the best and most stable result possible.

For our adult patients, we offer many innovative options in braces. These options include ceramic or clear braces as well as removable clear appliances that are virtually invisible.
